A short summary of my recent few batam trip. The summary will only give u a brief overview of what will be expected. Location will not be share openly to protect the place.

It was rather routine and standard.

I think have gold sliver and plantium. There are also 2 different type of package. It is best for you to find out what they are. Price does not include free drink. Facilites not bad, have steam room and one oxgen room hot and cold pool and jazzcui.

Gal standard, ok not really as good as KTV but still ok. Will line up for you to mirror. Sometime ladies come in a group of 7 or lesser. If have a group of 4 then maybe a bit hard to choose.

KTV

KTV usually go M1. I think overall still i like that place. Sitting price range from 400k to 800k.

Seldom go disco nowadays liao. Age catching up, feel that place getting noisy.

If go early like 8pm ladies one whole range, if go later have to depend on luck.

Ladies usually some no booking, some have. However, if able to break the ice and build up some chemistry they may go back with you.

Price usually 2 juta to 2.5juta for overnite. How many shots? Maybe have to talk to gal or depend own time own target can how many. Can still bargain down.

Some unable to overnite can ask for short time if u stay M1 hotel.

Price should be 1juta to about 1.5juta.

I tried both, gal service will be depend how to judge it.

I learned that Go Go supermarket at Harbour Bay sells stuffs cheaper too. I enjoy shopping at Top 100,and Go Go supermarket is comparable with Top100 in terms of range and pricing.

Thank you for the info on Ginger tea from the 2 countries,i will keep a look out for those stated sign. I drink ginger tea (half a small pack for one cup) once every other day and i try to add more water as it can taste relatively quite "spicy". A bit too strong for me if i take them in full.

Hmm...i just receive a PM from a bro about marrying an Indo girl NOT in Batam (those kampong area type). Just curious how much the wedding will cost tho. The girl side's parents were looking at about nearly 160 juta,hehehe... i almost faint. 160 juta can buy AT LEAST a landed house in Indonesia ,if i dont remember wrong (info taken from an ad i seen sometime ago tho).

Anyway, no obligation to reply me on the above as i already replied to the bro,citing the Indonesia's top 5 cities cost of living (Batam was ranked number 6,if i dont remember wrong).

About time i head for lunch.

My yesterday's lunch...1st time in Batam i couldnt finish my lunch. Too spicy already....but the portion is really big tho. I rate it 5/10. Edible,yet not my cup of tea.

There's the dowry element and the celebration (or pesta in the local language). Pesta from my understanding last I checked cost about sgd5k. Essentially that's the one where you invite friends and relatives over, kinda like your wedding banquet. But this is an optional thing to be honest. It's not a must in Indonesian culture and not necessary.

Dowry if I remember correctly is about idr5m. And negotiable. Hahah although they may request that you top up with a house for the girl. Since you are gonna marry the girl anyway, the house isn't a concern since you'll stay with her.

Perks of marrying a local girl and buying the house under her name is that you can get a landed property like the villa at woda villa for about sgd20k if the info I had was right. Actually, with sgd40k, u can even buy a land and build your own property. Property is under the girl's name, but I heard you can get a notary to ensure that the girl can't sell the land and property without your consent.

Hehehe...pesta is dowry,and dowry cost around S$5k,which is about 50 juta. I believe as you type this,the bro whom PM-ed me should be reading it. I think he might have got a rude shock with the around S$16k marriage expenses and the hurrying part of the parents to try to marry their daughter off to him.

The Indo city the bro will be (or likely be) marrying the girl isnt in Batam tho. Not so sure about buying property and having a notary against the girl selling it off but well,i was looking at apartments in Batam.... (out of topic,hehehe...)

...selling at about S$40k plus minus. (landed property actually isnt that expensive but i think it isnt eligible for foreigners),installment for a studio apartment is around S$680 a month (foreigner eligible). Not so expensive afterall for most Sillyporean tho,hehehe...thank you for sharing the good info.

*Actually i have seen in real life Indo girls selling away the house the guy bought and ran away with the money (written in the old Batam thread,where it happens in my ex work place's building cleaner).
