I have been to Bangkok twice but still not familiar with Bangkok. Where do u stay and roughly when you will fly to Myanmar. I can plane myself there as it is not very expensive and I have time now.

Actually bro, it was mainly just the reasoning and the behaving like a obnoxious tourist. I did not use money to solve. The next morning I did leave tips around but when I was arguing my case, no money or bribes change hands.

My post was really just to inform bros that Frangipani is a nice hotel with polite staff and good rooms. Just not girl friendly. Save the trouble and go elsewhere.

I get what you are trying to do, but my first time to Cambodia was 1994, I even bought land back then. You want to know the price you paid for short time in luxury was the price I paid a massage girl for LT in Holiday hotel back then. She even bought me breakfast the next morning.

I understand you feel that it is your duty to make sure others don't pay too much so as not to spoil the market. I have played all over the world, experienced all kinds of fun for more than 2 decades. I really don't need to justify to you whether I am a carrot head.

Just because you don't like to litter, and don't throw rubbish everywhere, does not mean you get to lecture others. The only thing you can do is show good example and hope others follow. Or pick up rubbish that people litter and help them dispose it properly. How people pay is how people pay. It is not your business and definitely don't need your approval. Unless you are going to pay for me next time so I don't 'spoil the market', I will then of course say thank you.

Just be thankful, we get to be born and living where we get to do these fun things. Play and be happy. So what if the price is different from 10 or 20 years ago. It just means, life is good and improving for them. I rather like my girls to be happy and fun, rather than starving and struggling to make ends meet.

Inflation has surely hit Phnom Penh.. .or just Casa KTV ?

LT used to be 100 USD... now it's between 120 to 150.

Am i being ripped off or it's the norm now ?

the quoting price for LT used to be usd70, but now it has dropped to usd50 or usd60.
